The cloud computing revolution is undergoing a profound shift as organisations abandon the “all-in” approach to the public cloud and adopt more strategic hybrid models. According to a survey of 600 EMEA IT managers, more than half of European businesses prefer private cloud for new workloads, while 65 per cent are considering moving workloads from public to private cloud to optimise costs and security. 94 per cent of organisations report wasteful spending on public clouds, while compliance and data security are becoming non-negotiable priorities.
